Delete your PocketSense account

First — do you have an account?
PocketSense does not require one. If you have never signed in, there is no account to delete. Your transactions live only on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes them.
The one exception is crash reports: if the app has crashed, a diagnostic report may have been sent. It carries no name, email or financial data and is not linked to any account, and it is deleted automatically within 90 days. There is nothing else, and nothing to request.
If you did sign in with an email address or with Google, read on.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app (fastest)
- Open PocketSense and make sure you are signed in
- Tap the settings icon (top right)
- Scroll to Account
- Tap Delete account
- Tap Export my data to CSV first if you want to keep a copy. Deleting the account erases your cloud backup too, so this is the only copy you will have
- Confirm with your password, or with your Google account
- Tap Delete permanently
The deletion happens immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot install the app, email contact@cloudastra.in from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my PocketSense account".
We will verify ownership of the address and delete the account within 7 days, then confirm by email.
What gets deleted

Nothing is retained. If you had backup turned on, your data was stored in your own private area of Google Cloud Firestore. That is erased first, before the account itself is removed, so no copy is left behind that we could keep or that you could no longer reach.
What is kept, and for how long

Important
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Your backup is erased along with everything else, so there is no recovery window. Export your data to CSV before deleting if you want to keep it.
If you only want to stop using the app without deleting your account, sign out instead. Your backed-up data is kept and returns when you sign back in — the device simply drops to a fresh, empty local profile in the meantime.
